Response to "Pride and Prejudice"
In the November 2013 issue of Teen ink, Matthew Fine surprised me in his article “Pride and Prejudice.” I thought that this selection describes how biotry can still be an issue. Jokes are made everyday about ethnicity, religion, or anything vulnerable to criticize a person for. I can’t really relate with Matthew because I’ve never experienced jokes based off my religion or my race. Even though I haven’t ever experienced this I can tell that it does hurt people, and jokes like that can hurt people more than we think. This dilemma is all around everyone does it. Some people may not realize it but they do make jokes about it.
