Video Game Loot Boxes Should Be Illegal
The writing titled” Video Game Loot Boxes Should be Illegal”, written by Braeden Kelly, talks about gambling in games. His writing left me felling in agreement. I felt in agreement because gambling is a serious thing. The loot box system of rolling the dice” can be addicting. In the article Braeden stated,” … often give players an advantage over gamer’s who don’t spend money”. I strongly disagree with this statement. The loot box system is fully cosmetic now. Pay to win games, besides for E.A games, are gone from the gaming community. I do agree that kids are gambling at very young ages is very bad and could get them in trouble. The problem with this statement is that many players do it at their own discretion. It’s also unfair to companies because as stated,” Companies will continue trying to take their clients’ money”.
