Koi Restaurant Review
“Is there anything else we can do for you?” the waitress asks us with a friendly smile. She has on a stylish type of japanese clothing and has one of the kindest voices you will ever hear. When you walk into Koi in Hazlet, the people who work there become your friend and take care of you. They check on you at the most appropriate times and you will never run out of soy sauce or water. I am sure, that this restaurant
The restaurant is the most sanitary place you could be and is a perfect setting to eat. There is low, soothing music that relaxes you and almost makes you want your food even more than you already do. There is sure to be something on the menu that you will like, no matter who you are. Koi looks like America and Japan had a baby and it looks very lovely. There is beautiful Japanese culture scattered around the restaurant, with pictures of Japan on the wall, Japanese writing, and a cat statue with a moving hand called Maneki-neko. It is said to bring good luck to you and those around you. The restaurant also has a little bit of America. They have an American Flag in front of the restaurant. You will be surprised how good this all really looks. The seats in the restaurant are cushioned and adds on to the great experience. If you decide to go eat at the sushi bar, the chefs create your own roll in front of your face! The way the chef blends everything together makes you want to make your own sushi at home, and it is overall a great experience.
The sushi is so enchanting, I can’t take my eyes off of it. It puts me in a trance, and I can't stop thinking about eating it. The amazing California Roll has so many distinct flavors, it puts you in paradise. The perfect crab, the freshest avocado, and the tastiest cucumber. This trio of flavors is the best you will ever taste. A more complex sushi roll is the Dragon Roll. Salmon, crab, sweet plum sauce, and cream cheese blended together for a unique taste. Surprisingly, the cream cheese blends perfectly with all the other flavors in this roll. It is a different taste, but a great taste. For regular sushi, the best is the yellowtail sushi. It is yellowtail fish over white rice. It is a perfect, rich flavor. A perfect side to dip your sushi in is spicy mayo. It has a spicy taste, but feels so good on your tongue.
