Skies roar, grounds shake,
Loud enough for everyone to wake.
Unfortunate people who are here,
A devastating power, incredibly sheer.
It wiped all civilization away,
It took all lives in less than a day.
And yet, this place is well known today,
A historic place that we call Pompeii.
