Oh summer, I love you much I cherish
the sweet sensation of happiness.
Without your touch I would perish.
Rainy days on the porch we play chess.

Upon the sun shone beach we swim,
No matter the clarity of our water.
As we play volleyball we grasp the win.
My dog leaped in creating a big stir.

Playing Frisbee when my leg turns blue.
I feel betrayed by the creature here.
In short time I feel his venom seep through.
My skin now flaking off, I cannot hear.

The darkness of night seems so familiar.
But wait, this isn’t night it’s just a killer.
