All I ask for is a sign.
A motion of whether you're on my side.
I'll promise to listen and never whine.
Please don't hide.

Keep in mind my sentiment.
In this house, I've stayed in for far too long.
This place is more like a tenement.
I can't help but think, all this time I've been wrong.

Apprehensively, I can sense.
You're filled with hesitance and dread.
With a broken gait, you walk through the broken fence.
You look back with one glance, and consider it all dead.

Strolling in this new freedom, we can finally feel alive.
I'll be with you the entire way and into it all, we'll dive.
