You broke my heart, yet now you want me back.
For some reason, you think that we’re okay.
Well let me just be honest when I say
That I don’t miss you or the things you lack.

You dare to come in front of me and claim
That I’m the one you cherish more than life
When it was you that started all my strife
And saw me as some animal to tame?

Just leave before you make yourself look dumb
Even more so than you already do
And go back to that other girl you had.
The feelings that I had for you are numb
And I already found somebody new
Who actually can make a girl feel glad.

Despite the way this may appear, this poem wasn't written from personal experience. It's more of an opinion on how to handle a cheating partner or spouse who comes crawling back.
