Why Does the Rain Keep on Falling
The sprinkles litter the ground
Without precise rhythm or sound,
Drenching the world in tears
And keeps on crying into frail ears.
Time can heal all wounds,
But the present bears no such boons.
When the rain keeps on falling,
Misery keeps up it's calling.
Forecast a time of sun!
I am so tired and done
With this squalor and pain--
I fear I bear a mark of Cain.
But if a time of sun should be coming,
Why does the rain keep on falling?
