She sat thinking of him all day long

Next to the place they met.
A girl who loved him since they were young

Cried ‘till her sleeves were wet.

Memories of the late boy she kept

Forever in her mind.
The sweet, Spring flower smell of him left

But his face she could find.

What split them was death of all reasons.

It shouldn't end that way.
She lived on through the year’s last seasons

Then again it was May
