Sonnet II (Spenserian): Forgiveness
Your eyes, filled with lust, pierced
my untouched skin.
Step by step, I unknowingly let you
In. You turned out to be my unknown
sin.
Do you understand what you put me
through?
Now I'm always old never to be new.
I wanted you away, yet you would
stay.
It was a horrible thing and you
knew
It, but lust consume you on those
dark days.
It's been years, I pray that you
have changed ways.
An innocent child exposed to the
cold,
Cruel world. The memories will
always stay.
Before God I was blind but now I
see.
I'll forgive you because he
forgives me.
