I'm Gone
You said you were over her.
Yet always spoke of what you were.
You say you’re here by choice but she was the one who let you go.
So how am I to truly know.
Settling must be hard to do.
I wonder do I look pathetic to you?
I thought you’d get over her , but her name is still fresh on your lips I can taste it.
I guess second place is all I get.
I can just see the rolling of your eyes as you read this note.
Saying “This is all lies!” that I have wrote.
But I don’t need to hear your lies anymore because this is what you don’t know.
I’m out the door I’ve hit the road I’ve made my mind I’m going to go.
By taxi train or plane.
I’m never coming back again.
