From Each Others Eyes
He thinks to himself,
As she sits down.
Why did I give that up?
Just look at her now.
The reason was so stupid,
And I want her back.
But she doesn't feel the same,
I need to get back on track.
She looks over at him,
She sees their eyes meet.
She quickly looks away,
She knows he won't retreat.
Knowing in her heart,
She still misses him.
Trying to hold back tears,
Waiting for class to begin.
He can't help but think,
Was there something there?
What just happened,
Could it be a miracle?
Could she feel the same,
Would she give him a chance.
He looked back at her,
But just a quick glance.
They don't know the truth,
When they believe lies.
Won't they take a chance,
And see it from each other's eyes?
