When I was six years old
Behind my desk in school
My teacher asked each one of us
When you grow up what will you do?

I remember all the answers
Fireman, Astronaut, Actress
When you answer this question now I wonder
What happened to you to change this

It used to be dream BIG!
You don't know where life will take you
But now if they catch you sleeping
The world will try to wake you

Don't lost your aspirations
Cling to that ambition
'Cause to follow your hearts desire
You need no ones permission

So, I went to the guidance counselor a few days ago, and I told her that I want to be an author, and she told me I had to start thinking about a more realistic occupation, and to be truthful I was insulted...This poem pretty much came out of that event.
