Love = A Joke?

He said he’d always be there
He said he’d always care..
Now he says he hates me,
As his girlfriend sits and stares
This is what it took to see his true colors
He must have made a joke
What I call love is so different
And he knows it too,
I saw it in the way he spoke.
But now it’s too late for him
I still love him yes,
But that love can turn to hate
As soon as he would make me break
And it’s all because
He took love as a joke…
