Little Gold Locks
Gold little locks,
All shaved off.
Hope in her heart,
All gone soft.
Cancer strikes,
A little girl of six.
Her brain is sick.
The clock still ticks.
She knows what’s coming.
She prepares before hand.
White light is summoning,
And there waits the big Man.
Family cries in her death,
But soon come to find,
The notes that she left,
With hearts that she signed,
"I love you, Mommy.
Please take care.
I know you love me,
Through the pain you share.
Please tell Daddy,
That I love him, too.
Don’t be sad,
You’ll make it through."
