Ode To Self
How ardently entrenced is my loathing.
Deep hatred instilled within my members.
It is to no avail worth consoling,
for my soul has recoiled to embers.
The incompetence of her speech and dress,
presumtuous her own eye wandering.
Quite impossible is it not to jest!
A hideous beast, not worth pondering.
Who beholds this unearthly description?
Why, the fiend portrayed upon the mirror.
My heart holds this toxic inscription;
That none past I, could be inferior.
Have you known such a power controlling?
Frightful the depth of one's own self loathing.
