Dreaming
Dreaming
I used to dream about you all the time,
The wistful feeling when you passed me by,
Your face was deeply etched into my mind,
The rush of feelings when I caught your eye,
Being on cloud nine, I felt I could fly.
Watching you play the game brought me much joy,
Although everything changed at one sudden blink,
Suddenly I began to feel like a toy,
Being replaced my heart began to sink.
Months went by; we started to drift apart,
Sadness fell upon us for nothing was the same,
On and off my heart felt stabbed with a dart.
With all the flaws he can never be replaced,
I'll always love him no matter the case.
