You Have Eyes that Sparkle
You have eyes that sparkle like the sea,
Gloriously green and delectably deep.
But somehow they do not see me,
Maybe your contacts are a little too cheap.
Whenever you walk by,
My breath does stop and my heart does palpitate.
When you're near I laugh, but when you're away I cry.
Hopefully someday soon, my love you’ll appreciate.
Trying to get you to like me is crazy,
But it’s crazier to try to get you off my mind.
Your vision of true love is a little hazy,
But in me, comfort and love you will find.
I will wait as long as you ignore,
I will be calm and won’t implore.
