Untitled
How I have fallen from my pedestal
where spring was I now see only nightfall
that I was to live O’ so casual
an icy maiden holds me in her thrall
Hands grip my throat and squeeze my air away
the grip of Death is hard and fast and strong
the hounds of Hell now bid me come and stay
they snap and bite with teeth so very long
Now see the king himself as I have done
A crown of bones adorns her gnarled frame
The King of Death has yet to be undone
with broken limbs now I am to be lame
how fare a day of May which I have lost
the value life now holds has been accost
