Animals, trees, mountains and sceneries,
All fall out into one word- beautiful
But smoke, trash and human activities
Destroy pretty thing to make their greed, full
Hoggish are the people living on Earth
Nature is free yet nature they abuse
Funny when nature cries for our death's birth,
Poor nature is blamed, nature is accused
Life is short and that is a common fact
Sooner or later, our deaths shall pass by
Next generations shall witness our acts,
Our numb acts of bidding nature 'goodbye'
All I ask is to move, not to sit
Because our own lives would suck without it..

The author's comments:
The past few months, our country experienced deleterios calamities and natural disasters that got the lives of our citizens.. The whole world is suffering from global warming that is caused by us, humans, with our greed for technology and modernization.. Thus, it gave me an idea to write a sonnet that would at least inspire others to move from their lethargic positions and do something to help ease nature's losing patience...
