Epiphany
Never will I cry about tomorrow
Nor spend another day lacrymose
Never will I drown myself in sorrow
Or be consumed by my feelings morose
Too long I have let myself evanesce
Finally, I'm letting myself shine bright
Melancholy once filled my every sense
Now darkness is being triumphed by light
I will not draw the shutters on beauty
I will be content with what I possess
I will stand up and face reality
I will put all of my worries to rest
For when the thoughts of life are sanguine
I find I'm the happiest I've ever been
