Of Dreams and Dreaming
Of dreams and dreaming, no longer to stall.
To dream is to hopelessly cast oneself
Into an abyss. Unknowingly fall
To the hands of your mind with quiet breath.
But awaken from such childish thoughts
To approach, nonetheless, imperfection.
A world unapproachable, not sought
But found by those wishing for affection.
An escape from this unbearable place
Can be found in thine heart or in thine soul.
Dream myself to sleep, no hurry or haste
And hope that tomorrow I'll sell, not be sold.
I know it's wishful. Regrets I may send.
Heart quaking, eyes wide, I'll dream once again.
