You were born an origanal why die a copy? The secret to success is the consistency to pursue. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world. To receive the right answer, you must ask the right question.Don't worry be happy! :)

If I climbed the highest mountain,
Swam across the widest sea,
Possibly would you then,
Begin to believe in me?

If I found the cure to cancer,
Or created a great invention,
Finally would you have faith,
In all my good intentions?

If I stopped the hungry from starving,
And gave strength to all the weak,
Maybe then would you listen,
To all the words I speak?

If you simply made a difference,
In one life or two,
I promise I would be proud,
Because I already believe in you...

Just the frustration of being ignored and put down inspired me to write this poem... why can't people just have faith in others dreams, hopes, and intentions... come on have a lil faith

I'm sorry that you found another way to be critical...has anyone ever told if you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all...

“The dye has been cast. The decision has been made. I have stepped over the line. I won’t look back, let up, slow down, or back away. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, my future secure. I’m done with low living, sight walking, small planning, colorless dreams, tamed visions, mundane talking, cheap living and dwarfed goals: I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, positions, promotions, or popularity. I don’t have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded or rewarded. I now live by faith, lean on His presence, walk with patience, live by prayer and labor with power. My face is set, my goal is Heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions are few, my Guide is reliable, my mission clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversary, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I won’t give up, shut up, let up, until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, and spoken up for the cause of Christ. I am a disciple of the lord Jesus Christ.” - African martyred for Christ.

I LOVED this poem.  I totally get it.  AMAZING!

I really liked this poem, it has double meanings! To some it might just be a person you are referring to, but to me I totally see the Lord as the one speaking!

Loved it! Great work!
