Deep Sorrow
In shadows deep, where sorrow’s whispers dwell
Aching heart implores comfort’s grace.
When loss descends, in grief’s relentless swell,
We yearn for comfort in this empty space.
The distant echoes of a love once known,
Now linger in the chambers of my soul.
Each teardrop shed, a testament, alone,
To the vast void that is left to take its toll.
Yet in the midst of the darkness hope shall rise,
For even in the depths of bitter woe.
Like gentle rays the pierce the clouded skies,
A seed of strength amongst the heart shall grow.
Though loss may wound and tear our world apart,
From pain’s embrace, we find a brand new start.
