First Love
Strangers we were at the time
Till we heard the clock chime
Bumping into you I never knew
I’d begin to see from a different view
Friends we had soon became
We swore we’d be in the hall of fame
So we make memories till the day ends
Getting a little too close to be just friends
Lovers we were for a short while
But a monster lied behind that smile
I guess cupid only hit one of us
You weren't in love nothing left to discuss
Enemies but not for too long
We were a musicians failed song
Hating each other for quite awhile
But eventually it wasn’t worthwhile
Strangers we will forever remain
Whenever I see you I still feel pain
Cause even though to you I don't exist
You'll always be the person I first kissed

Everyone starts off as strangers, then they become something more. Often times any sort of relationships end up where they started, just with memories of the person instead.
