Growth MAG
I watch the world pass
Observed but stationary
I bear the weight of all
The growth that I must carry
I’ve lived through many wars
Without any choice to parry
Hated and loved alike
Their growth that I must carry
The fuel of anger
And I must hold it in
A child’s wish
A man’s bloody sight of gin
A guiltless newborn’s surroundings
Bathed in the sin
A life worth nothing
There has simply never been
Unwanted; unnoticed
I then begin to tarry
But
Still I struggle for
Their growth that I must carry
Push for finer
Like a trade wind hope
Know it’s broken
When reality’s a trope
Emotions are dividers
Divisions kept with rope
With one swing
We are no longer separate; lone
Oh, I stand tall
With a dream for steam unary
I hold strong
For the growth that I must carry
