Like Them
Like them
Look into my eyes
and tell me why?
I can’t look like them
Be like them
Succeed like them
To be free like them
Id close my eyes and count to ten
I’d dream big every now and then
Then it’s time to wake up again
This feeling has no end
Feeling helpless, small and weak
You see in a week
Equipped with this pain
You’ll see kids hiding in shame
With streaks on their arms and brain
But they’re strong they can fight it
Grab sight of it
Write it, recite it
Never lose sight of it
Cause the pain will go away
Faster than an early grave
