The clouds pile high on the horizon tonight
Like battleships in the sky
Old, abandoned kingdoms
That crumble before my eyes
The wind is howling, blowing tangles in my hair
Thunder on the wind
Raindrops in the air
Don’t let it in
I close my doors
Light my window,
A beacon in the storm
The way to shelter it will show—
For those who know

I think you're very talented and I feel like if you wanted to, you could write a book.
A parody, I suppose, but not a mean one. I hear this song so often, and I thought I'd adapt it.
