Mouth of Madness
Along the way,
I tangle and coo with the likes of you
Witnessing,
The shifting and bending, the downward reflecting grin
Days spent,
In remembrance of perfect symbiosis, now one that brings me to fear
Encompassing,
The window to my back is all the excitement I need here
My love, a syre
I will paint in shades of pink
Instructions for madness that I can’t read
Fear blooms at the crease, the fear to be self-aware
More than the cell-filled nail beds can bear
But it’s the dream, the dream we all seek
The comfort in which nothing shines bleak
Truth won’t set us free
Locked in the confines keeps us from disease
No more sun, no more pleas
Just continue on and feed the daydream
We will dream until we sleep
The gaze- ours to keep
