Teardrops On My Homework
Mr. C looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see
That I want and I'm needing anything but a C
I'll bet it's simple, that problem he assigns
But it's got everything that I haven't learned about
Mr. C talks to me, I cry 'cause it's just not easy
And I can't even see any sense when he's with me
He says we've got it down, he thinks we know it all
I wonder if he knows math's all I cry about at night
He's the reason for the teardrops on my homework
The only thing that keeps me crying on my math textbook
Quadratic song in the car I keep singing, I know why I do
Mr. C walks by me, can he tell that I can't breathe?
And there he goes, so easily
Can you help me here 'cause I can't see
You need to help me here, no understanding
Look at this pathetic mess, and I know I'm failing 'cause
He's the reason for the teardrops on my homework
The only thing that keeps me crying on my math textbook
Quadratic song in the car I keep singing, I know why I do
So I get home alone
As I turn out the light
I'll put this homework down
And maybe get some sleep tonight
'Cause he's the reason for the teardrops on my homework
The only one who knows enough for me to ask for help
Quadratic song in the car I keep singing, I know why I do
Math's the time taken up, but there's never enough
And help's all that I need to pass finals
Mr. C looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see

All original music/lyric credit goes to Taylor Swift and her affiliated producers. This song is a rendition of how much I don't understand basic math concepts.
