The woman who gave me life

The woman who went through all that strife

To give me all your love

Soft and peaceful, gentle as a dove.

The woman who spent hours in labor

The woman with my memories she savors

To give me all your hope

Rising and falling, as graceful as a slope

The woman who keep me protected

The woman who takes me to school, that she has selected

To give me all your dreams

Strong and mighty, just like a bull, it seems

The woman who lets me be me

The woman who always loves what she sees

To give me all your strength

Fighting and surviving like a lives true length

This is why I love you

For everything you do

Kisses and hugs that do smother

You are my one true mother
