Words I have never heard before

I glance up at his face, notice he is staring

His eyes never leave mine; it's so electrifying

His lips are soft as they caress my cheek

Tingles erupt; my legs go weak

Until they finally land on my parted lips

His hands glide from my face to hold my hips

This moment goes on, it never fades

Time seems to have gone to a different place

Until it's only us wrapped in an embrace

Wonder and trust shining from his face

But I'm frightened they'll just make a fool of me

So I push them back and keep them there
