Peach Rings

we're both half eaten bags of peach rings
the last sip in a two litter bottle
not quite sure where we're headed
but we're going full throttle
I'm on a train that has no stops
a few umbrellas opened indoors
the darkest star in the night sky
I tell myself that I love you
the question that I ask is why
