Standing
In a sea of broken glass
Waves bounce and
Calmly crash
Until the motion fades.
Feeling
All that you don’t know
Lying right beneath
Your toes
You stop and think:
Is it wrong?
To jump right in
To try to win
Against nothing and everything.
Is it wrong?
To get cut and bleed
To feel the need
To let it drip.
Is it wrong?
To slowly heal
To break the seal
And start all over
Again.
It’s not wrong
To go right back
See what you lacked
And soak it
In.
