My favorite verse
I wish it was as easy
For me to speak
As it is to write.
Only then could I
Etch your whole being
Into reality.
These crumpled pages
Speak better
Than all possible languages.
My feelings unexpressed
By tongue
Echo here undiminished.
I wish it was easy
To speak the way I write
Bluntly, insolently.
Only then could you see
That every word
Has a different shade for me.
I wish you make it easy
For me and stay
Till I figure out the perfect phrase.
Only then could you understand
What I never could say,
Consequently, I stay silent today.
For now, I remain what I was;
An obsessed collector of words
And you, my favorite verse.
