What happened…? This isn’t what was supposed to happen…
BREAK! Make a run for the shore,
Wake up, you’re feeling so sore.
Legs, arms, heart.
Every muscle you tore.
Ripped right out of my chest.
What happened to us? Weren’t I the best?
Broken inside, follow the rest.
The crowd that strips away the past.
So you forgot about the times?
Well, tell me if pain resides in my rhymes.
FOR BETTER OR WORSE!
That’s the oath I took, now a curse.
BREAK THE CHAINS!
And kill me to end the pain.
For better or worse,
That’s the lie in which I was submersed.
So how is this right?
I’ll lie down. Inside, I die tonight.
HAUNTED! By all the dreams I had.
I’m dead inside. Now you’re glad?
It’s not all your fault, it’s mine too.
It was my mistake, my screw up. MY BAD!
I’m supposed to be the one who took you away.
I’m no longer here. Can I stay?
I’m broke in every way.
Thinking of you ever night and day.
But I promise you tonight,
There will not be a fight.
Because I’ll swear it all again.
I just don’t want us to end…
