Breath
I tied that noose around my neck
And wore it like a leash
Because the problems don’t hold back
They all want to consume me
Sickened of f***ing waiting
For a light to shine in again
Watching for an opening
To release me from the world I’m in
Where are the solutions?
I still have a little time
To make a resolution
Before I watch it all fall away
My skin is cold and soaked
From the chemicals inside my veins
In my sleep I feel choked
Please satisfy my pain
All the clouds crumbled and fell
The sky turned a darkened gray
Trapped inside a mental jail cell
Bound by struggle and steel chains
Now you all think I’m crazy!
I know my shaking gets in the way!
Don’t you think I’m crazy?
As my life collapses on the floor again
Don’t you stand there
I can see you not do a damn thing
I know I cant talk
But I promise I’m still
Breathing
Breathing
Heaving
Heaving
Where are the solutions?
I still have a little time
To make a resolution
Before I watch it all fall away
