Daddy can i please come home?
Haven’t been home for two years
Stuck in this foster home
Getting locked in a bathroom everyday
Haven’t had anything to eat
Have no clothes on my back
(Chorus) Momma do you think of me?
Daddy don’t you feel a bit sorry?
Getting hit when I yell back
Have the scars to show you
But you never listen anymore
I cry quietly every night
I’ll get in trouble if I’m loud
(Chorus)
I have bruises to show you
Would you look at your baby girl now?
You said I’ll be home any day but that was months ago
I’m dying here in this place
Daddy can I please come home?
They feed me once a day
But I take it with a bowl of pills
They give me a bottle of the gold stuff mommy drinks
Then I fall fast asleep
(Chorus)
You said I’d be home any day but that was months ago
I’m dying here in this place
So daddy can I please come home?
