Are You Happy Now?
I never thought that I'd beg
For a day, just for a day, of silence.
No mercy comes from the noise,
Such proud noise, blaring in defiance.
Like a cloud, swollen heavy with rain
(oh) shade the crowd, as together they say:
You better be happy now
I'm condemned by a wish
That I missed, now I'm empty handed.
Dreams are kept, only if,
He who dreamt, can still stand to stand it.
Like a cloud swollen heavy with rain
It rains my thoughts, it rains them away:
Are you happy now?
Here I'm still running a race,
A race that is set, against me
Time is slipping away, as I run
Nowhere, helplessly
Just like a cloud, swollen heavy with rain
Full of doubt. Then it spits in my face:
Oh you better be happy now.
