Another Time to Die (Alternate Version)
Another Time to Die (Alternate Version)
There was a man who thought he'd cleanse us of our sins.
A butchering messenger. He'll let Apocalypse begin.
Is it our time to die?
There's a man who wants to play.
Wants to play as God, and cast us away.
It's all his mind, all his mind.
Annihilate concepts of yesterday.
Feel the pestilent touch of mortality.
Is it our time? It's our time?
The clock's ticked down, and now it's our final time.
Like chill of the wind, this life passed us all right by.
There was a man who thought he'd cleanse us of our sins.
A butchering messenger. He'll let Apocalypse begin.
I know it's hard to find another time to die.
Virtue's a vacant lie.
Can't stop Dr. Jekyll from going Hyde.
It's all one lie. All one lie.
There's a lot of things we want to say.
But when we get the chance, we can't convey.
Snuff out the light. Out the light.
The clock's ticked down, and now it's our final time.
Like chill of the wind, this life passed us all right by.
There was a man who thought he'd cleanse us of our sins.
A butchering messenger. He'll let Apocalypse begin.
I know it's hard to find another time to die.
In many ways, I guess I somehow should have known.
Cannot stay, 'cause there's no room here left to grow.
But we're all born to die.
The clock's run out of time.
And stop this madness now.
(When did this chaos start?).
Stop this madness now.
(When did this chaos start? Chaos caused by the hands of just one man).
The clock's ticked down, and now it's our final time.
Like chill of the wind, this life passed us all right by.
There was a man who thought he'd cleanse us of our sins.
A butchering messenger. He'll let Apocalypse begin.
I know it's hard to find that dying time.
I know it's hard to find another time to die.
