Shore to Shore
Sailing from sea to sea shore to shore,
thinking back to the day you made that fatal mistake,
thinking about the day you slammed the door,
hiding your face to help your case cause it's not okay to show your face,
it's not okay to show your face no more
and you wonder what you're still living for
wishing for the day when you find your place
wondering if thats still a dream to chase
wondering if you could ever replace that face
meanwhile your days go by in a stubborn haze
trying to race out of the maze you made
but can you keep your pace
you adjust your gaze and you see her face
but she's cold and dead on the wooden floor
she's dead and gone and there's nothing more
sailing form sea to sea shore to shore
you should have never slammed the door
you should have never let her go
