The Heart Breaker and the Gullible Boy
She called me gullible boy
and kissed my mouth
before she threw herself
through that open door.
I called her heart breaker
and ripped her face out of my eyes
before I fell asleep amongst
letters from a whore.
She called me three weeks later
and swore she learned better;
we could be happy, we could be lovely,
we could be everything I read about.
I called her lover girl,
my beautiful, amazing lover girl,
and the extent of my love
to the world I would shout.
She called me gullible boy
and kissed my mouth
before she threw herself
through that open door.
I called her evil girl,
my cruel, heartless evil girl
and the end of my hurt
to the world I implored.
They called her three weeks later
and told her my story, my demise,
but she didn’t miss me,
her stupid, gullible boy.
