As I breathe,
I feel the air rush in my lungs.
As I breathe,
I smell nothing.
As I breathe,
my chest rises.
As I breathe,
I close my eyes.
As I breathe,
I feel the warmth of my breath.
As I breathe,
I feel the moisture on my lips.
As I breathe,
I feel the weight press on my shoulders.
As I breathe,
I feel the tears sting my eyes.
As I breathe,
I listen.
