Secrets
How you gonna repair the despair that you left behind?
When are you gonna find the peace that you had in mind.
Don’t tell me it’s hard to find cause I’ll just remind you of the kind things you used to do when you knew how it felt to be a person with a heart.
You can start being that person again that friend that I lost in the end when I could no longer pretend that I could put my trust in them.
I was willing to forgive the things that you did.
I was willing to forget the things you regret.
I was willing to trust in the things that you hid from me, but I can’t protect your secret any longer.
The truth is only growing stronger, and it’s apparent that you’re a cold blooded monster, and I’m saying goodbye to your closet full of lies because obviously you don’t respond to anybody’s cries.
Your soul is dry ice, and it came to me as a big surprise.
I never thought your soul could be so cold.
I guess I forgot that old habits die harder than I thought.
How many skeletons are still hiding in that closet and for how long?
It’s wrong to lie and why? Because you should know that your secrets never truly die.
They live on and on and on because the pain they bring goes on and on and on and I still keep it in my heart hoping that one day it will be forgotten
