whisper in the wind

so i can hear your name

sacrifice a script to bend

and wonder why you came

live like an hourglass, half full

or simply dried clean

shed the strings that pull your soul

then breathe it into me

witness the leaves of devotion

spinning fables in the air

while silent is the potion

as it whispers lost despair

whisper in the wind

and tell me who you trust

trade away absurdity

before the moment turns to dust

whisper in the wind

of the dreams left by a fool

whisper in the wind

regrets are now unruled
