I Didn't Mean What I Said
Last night I walked on down the street
The leaves, they broke under my feet
I was thinking of what you said to me
That one day we’d both be free
We were the one’s, the ones to be
I just wish that you could maybe see
How much you really meant to me
My heart is like a small brown drawer
You had the key and open the door
It was your choice to let my love run through
And when you did, it ran straight to you
It was late July of 2011,
I looked in your eye
It brought me straight to heaven
You were the one I was looking for
It was then and there, our love, it soared!
Theres nothin’ you could have done,
I take all the blame, its on me
I didn’t think it all out
All that you had said to me
You said I was here for you,
And that you were here for me
And nothing could break us apart
It was our destiny
I didn’t mean to desert you
That’s not what I had planned
I didn’t mean to hurt you,
And I didn’t mean what I said.
