Anybody Listening?
In a world of liars the gossip circles around
Pressure and feeling like I should just shout out
Words crossing my mind like the planes up in the sky
But you’re never recognizing just demanding why
The tears are mounting
Everyone is shouting
Forget about humility how about hostility
In a world where cries for help get lost in the crowd
Wont somebody, anybody please help me down?
And you wonder why there are again tears in my eye
When all I hear are my mistakes and the latest lie
Repeating back to me time after time
You’ll never be worth anything so don’t even try
Perfection?
What’s next then?
Kids lost with no direction
Excuse me, correction
Maybe they just lost the connection
