I'm Sorry
Where were you?
When I needed you.
You were nowhere to be found.
And now that you need me,
You’re coming and knocking on my door.
Acting like it’s alright.
When you know that’s not right.
But you have nothing to say.
I’m sorry to do this.
I just can’t hold it together.
You know I needed you to survive
But you dropped me in the raging water,
Knowing that I can’t swim on my own.
You washed your hands of me.
Was I that much of a problem?
Well I’m sorry, I just can’t do this.
You tore me up,
And you broke me down,
You ruined me all around.
Even after that,
You had nothing to say.
Do you even think of anyone else?
But you, I don’t think so.
I just know you all too well.
I’m sorry to do this.
I just can’t hold it together.
You know I needed you to survive
But you dropped me in the raging water,
Knowing that I can’t swim on my own.
You washed your hands of me.
Was I that much of a problem?
Well I’m sorry, I just can’t do this.
Alright, I can’t do it anymore.
Oh, I can’t even look at you.
So baby, I’m not your problem anymore.
I know that you will be glad.
I’m sorry to do this.
I’m sorry to leave you.
And for wasting your time.
Yes, my dear, I’m sorry.
Oh so sorry.
So sorry.
I’m sorry to do this.
I just can’t hold it together.
You know I needed you to survive
But you dropped me in the raging water,
Knowing that I can’t swim on my own.
You washed your hands of me.
Was I that much of a problem?
Well I’m sorry, I just can’t do this.
