Saved
I don't want to be that girl,
that does things to feel loved,
I don't want to hurl,
to feel like I'm good enough.
I don't want to hide,
my enormos laugh,
I don't want to abide,
by their rules that don't make sense.
I don't want to cry,
because people say things to me,
I don't want to not try,
to be the person I wanna be.
I don't want to feel ugly,
in my own skin,
I don't want to smile smugly,
when someone doesn't win.
I want to be strong,
I want to be brave,
I want to be alive long,
and I want to be saved.
