Just Like You
I wake up from bed
Open my eyes
Look at the clock and its Monday
I look out of the window
To see the world
Many people on the road busy with their things
I think they all have their own dreams
I’m just a girl with old blue jeans
Then I hold my guitar, play my new song and the melody goes
CHORUS: I rock, I'll try to make my dream come true
I’m an ordinary girl just like you
Too cool, no rules
I’m gonna do it right I’m marching through my life, chasing down the dreams
I am just like you
Being a superstar, that’s what I wanna be
Maybe in Hollywood, my world’ll be fantasy
Even though it seems like a star too far far away
There’s gonna be a road to reach it
Everybody wants to follow their own dreams
But its never easy as the way it seems
I have to try harder, believe in myself
Try to figure out who I am
CHORUS:
